My work focuses on modelling of complex materials and the development of powerful algorithms \u2014 such as the Activation-Relaxation Technique (ART nouveau) and the kinetic Activation-Relaxation Technique (k-ART) \u2014 to describe their energy landscape and kinetic properties. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am also Scientific Director of the <a href=\"https:\/\/iet.polymtl.ca\">Institut de l&#8217;\u00e9nergie Trottier<\/a>, based at Polytechnique Montr\u00e9al.
